Getting to Fushimi Inari Taisha on the Keihan Line

 

To get to Fushimi Inari Taisha from Demachiyanagi Station, Sanjo Station, Gion-Shijo Station, Shichijo Station, or Tofukuji Station, take a Sub-Express (junkyū 準急), weekday morning Commuter Sub-Express (tsūkin junkyū 通勤準急), or Express (kyūkō 急行)  train on the Keihan Line and stop at Fushimi-Inari Station (伏見稲荷駅).

JR Passes cannot be used on the Keihan Line because the Keihan line is not part of the JR network.

The walk from the Keihan Fushimi Inari Station to the main entrance of the Fushimi Inari Taisha will take you through a street lined with shops. It's a 5-minute walk if you don't stop at any of them. Here's the route in photographs:
